Born in Iran and raised from Armenian heritage, company founder, Mega Megardichian spent most of his early life immersed in a diverse range of artistic expressions, working from various cultural traditions of music, painting, architecture, metal-work and so much more. This blending of cultural influences has given Mega an incredible ability to adapt, innovate and think outside the box. When he has an idea, there's nothing stopping him from grabbing a pen and paper on the spot and drawing a unique and breathtaking design. His design philosophy is rooted in two fundamentals: distinctiveness and stylishness.

More specifically, Mega loves to design things that are chic.

 

It was with this passion for design that Mega immigrated to Canada in 1997. Only two years later, Mega started his own stone fabrication shop in Scarborough, called Marble View. After twenty years of  numerous features in prominent home décor publications and countless collaborations with well-renowned designers and architects, Mega grew this shop into a recognised leader in stone fabrication in Ontario.

Having achieved this success, even at the age of 65, Mega decided he wasn't done making his mark as a creative and continued his life-long initiative to build something unique. With a life-long love and passion for metal-work and architectural design, Mega founded Door Noir, an exclusive, boutique company that specialises in high quality French-style, wrought iron doors.
